Madam Yanghaiying, I have to say that your videos are instructional, interesting, and helpful.
I've heard you say that you are sorry if you are wasting our time, but I honestly believe that if anyone felt that time spent listening to you is a waste, then they are the waste. Keep up the grand work.

Yes, that is all

@Rozyonnie Could you find it? it is under Calligraphy projects, about 50 videos now.

@Rozyonnie OK, DOING.

It is very smooth, it does not produce ink as quick as the rougher ones, does this make sense? I am sorry I do not have enough experience with expensive ink stones. On the other hand, if something really expensive, I would not feel right to use for grinding. I do not know about other people. Did I explain? Thank you.

I ask because in your video you said you do not normally grind ink on the 端石砚 because the surface is not rough, and I was confused. I still am actually.
-
First, I do not have one. Wait a minute, maybe I have but never used. I will buy a superior ink stick and use it.

What do you use the Duan stone for if not grinding ink?
since you said it should be rough, could I use an ordinary unglazed pot my grandmother uses for her garden?

@migencluz If there is no dust come off from grinding, then go for it.
