I've outfitted the Strat from Hell with a pair of my Riffbucker prototype stacked humbuckers. This video is my test run.

  • having trouble finding info on whether or not you have sfh-1's for sale. do you still offer them? i think i might like to get one, maybe two, when i get back from basic training in mid-2012

  • @firelightguitarist I've only built the prototypes, which I'm not completely satisfied with since they are fairly tall and may not fit all strat pickup cavities.

  • have you ever made p-90's?

  • @guitargod1598 Not yet.

  • @riffguy please, let me know if you ever do.id be fairly interested in a riff-90.lol.if you were to do it, how much would it cost me, just a rough estimate?

  • @guitargod1598 Riff-90....I like the sound of that. I figure I could build you one for $90 to $100.

  • 1:39 haha that was unexpected

  • @rockcastlemusic I don't have any problems with bends, but the action needs to be fairly high in order to prevent the notes from cutting out.

Here's an idea....install extra tall jumbo frets and have your luthier level the frets to a different radius. This way, the fretboard stays original and you get the benefit of a flatter radius.

  • Do you have a website that has any info on this pickup, such as dc resistance and resonant peak for bridge, and neck/middle models? I already have a Strat pickguard with a bridge Seymour Duncan Hot Rails,a Cool Rails in the middle position, and a neck position Hot Rails in the neck position. It will eventually be going into a Carvin Bolt kit,and I want the power of the Hot Rails, but with a little more versatility, especially when used with lower gain.Any info wold help, and thanks for the demo.

  • @riffguy i'm good with that, i have a strat clone that i'm totally willing to modify to fit them. just a little extra routing ought to make enough room, yeah?

  • Great strat tone man!

  • @riffguy alright.this should be more doable for me sometime in early July. id love to get a little more into detail with you upon this.message me at a point when it would be convenient for you.thank you.

    Rock On!lol
