This is a brief demo Eagle Films created for a War museum concerning the brutal and bloody WW-I battle of Verdun. It was one of about twenty multimedia projects that were to be produced under the supervision of Philip Cook of Eagle Films.

The real cowards during WWII were the guys in the French Government (not all of them but still...). The French Army fought well during the Battle of France, but it was a battle lost way before it had even started.

Don't forget the Free French Forces, Normandie-Niemen, etc... and of course the Resistance.

Algerian rebellion was overcrushed by French army. Their losses were over 1 million, while French army lost around 30000 troops from 1954 to 1962. The French won the main battles in Indochina, from 1945 to 1954, except the last one Dien Bien Phu in 1954.These 2 wars ended in political agreements for the French withdrawal. Too many Anglosaxons are a bunch of ignorant fucks. French military background is more than 1500 years and is probably more filled with victories than defeats.

UK -> 2,7 million casuatlies including 1 million death (population 45,4 million)

Italy -> 2,3 million casualties including 1,2 million death (population 35,6 million)

And the Americans say they saved our asses by 300k casualties, including 100k deaths (population 92 millions).
