On May 1, 2010 there was another informal Uncontrolled Airspace meet-up at Nashua's Boire Field in Nashua, NH. I had already been planning to fly that day, so I made KASH my destination. It's not a long flight from Norwood, but I figured I might go somewhere else after brunch, time permitting. Of course we had such fun hangar flying at Nashua that I barely had time to get the plane back to Norwood for the next pilot. This video is another approach and landing at Nashua, KASH. Once again I was approaching from the south and the winds were favoring runway 32. So this is a repeat of a previous landing video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zvfDHqWcF4 - same plane, airport and runway. In fact, if you count the video that I made in the right seat of the Trinidad - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMROyGiQTlo - , this was the third time I'd landed at Nashua, all on runway 32. Not too much to report here about the flying: a pretty normal approach and landing. I tried a couple of new camera placements however. The Flip HD is looking off the left wing, the Sony is looking across the plane at me and the Panasonic is mounted to the rear passenger window looking straight ahead, but without the extender arm. I thought this might make it more stable, but as you can see early on, there is a lot of shake in the rear-most camera. For that reason, when editing I stayed off that shot in the early part of the video. But stay with it to 1:50 because as soon as I slowed the plane and began my final descent into the pattern, the shaking stopped and I kept that shot up much longer, especially to show the entire final approach. Three cameras, all HD with ATC audio. Enjoy the flight.
your video is very professional. Thanks for posting. Non pilots like myself appreciate your time and effort in allowing guys like me to view and share your flight

@TheChompeepe Thanks so much for watching and for your nice comment. I learn a lot for watching my own videos and glad they help others. I hear a lot from people in training who say similar things. I'm working on some new ones now.

@crockett616 Thanks for writing. It is a beautiful plane and it is fun to fly. A little pricey to rent, but still, very fun.

Great video! Enjoy the different shots and you did a great job putting them together in an interesting way. Loved the rear shot and being able to see both the control inputs and plane response while you were landing...unique perspective i don't recall seeing in any other vid. Cirrus always look beautiful of course. :)
