  • @TheBgbrush In that cold of water the fish havent started their spawning yet. Look for the fish on the main lake on ledges, points, and drop offs. Look for them on the river channels. If you dont find them there look for them at the mouths of the creeks on ledges, drop offs, and any elevation changes. Once the water gets near 65 they will start heading back in the creeks for the spawn. Good luck.

  • maybe you can help...what do you do when spring rains bring cold muddy water?

    the water is around 48 degrees now and around 50-51 in the back of coves and just strait mud...i found some clearer water but it is still murky. but i just dont know how to fish it or what kind of spots to look for. i tried riprap and caught one, and i tried thick shallow cover with a jig in the backs of coves, and i tried brush with a spinner. but nothing worked. what should i be looking for b4 i pick a spot?
