Yeah facebook is kind of a double edge sword- I always look at friends that I lost contact and wish I had done things differently- Like not left the way I did and stuff, but it's nice that you at least have that connection I guess...

if this helps; I'd rather take a chance to know the lives of people I care about, regardless of outcome, for the sake of being a friend and a witness to their lives - instead of pushing the possibility of many rekindled friendships away. It's "BECOMING RECONNECTED" and not just facebook or youtube or myspace, that helps one realize how dissociated we can become if we're not careful to be mindful of our past or pre-existing relationships. The same sentiment may be blocking other friends you miss.
