How did you know those two trains split up to become one? Ive noticed this long train with 2 engines pass through newcastle on sunday evenings, is that the same trian that splits up as well?

well to answer your first question I've been on it :) went to Ottawa (the back half of the train). abut your 2nd question is I have no idea it might be a equipment move or it might be split up at it's destination.
