The visionary entrepreneur and author of the New York Times bestseller Do You! delivers a powerful guide to true abundance.
Russell Simmons knows firsthand that wealth is rooted in much more than the stock market. True wealth has more to do with what's in your heart than what's in your wallet. Using this knowledge, Simmons became one of America's shrewdest entrepreneurs, achieving a level of success that most investors only dream about. No matter how much material gain he accumulated, he never stopped lending a hand to those less fortunate. In Rich Inside and Out, Simmons uses his rare blend of spiritual savvy and street-smart wisdom to offer a new definition of wealth-and share timeless principles for developing an unshakable sense of self that can weather any financial storm. As Simmons says, "Happy can make you money, but money can't make you happy."
In straight-talking inspiring chapters, Simmons provides unforgettable true stories from his own road to riches, delving into the principles and practices that have kept him energized and focused. Whether we're in the boardroom or on a yoga mat, Simmons says, we have to be able to listen to our inner voices. Finding our unique potential, we can make the right moves, ruled not by money but by the joy of conscientious living and giving. With these philosophies and more, Simmons brings us a stimulus package of consciousness that will never run dry, backed by the power of the higher self.

@Arklysirzirgas people will get paid $127k which is more than what 97% make, so they arent going to object. nobody will work as doormen or any of the other millions of pointless jobs this system produces. everyone will be trained to do important useful work
the problem with socialist countries was that pay was NOT equal, it was not democratic, and they were ruled over by unaccountable brutal dictatorships. to say socialist countries failed because of equal pay is simply not true

@kajmobile Firstly that will never work because I came from a former socialist country and economic equality doesn't work. People with very high working skills feel like they're getting ripped off by getting paid the same as doormen. Plus this is just fantasy, I doubt the US will become socialist/communist anytime soon.
Secondly most rich people don't get PAID, a lot earn dividends and returns from investments from their OWN MONEY! so how can anyone say they aren't entitled to get a return?

@Arklysirzirgas If we had a democratic economic system where everyone held equal power and income was allocated equally, everyone would get paid $127,000 per year, enough to make every worker wealthy.
but since we have a system that pays people like simmons hundreds of millions, 97% of the workforce is forced to make less than the $127k average.

@kajmobile My point is that MOST employees are not exactly founders or mavericks of new innovations or businesses. They believe that having a job will make them wealthy (which in MOST cases it doesn't, it keeps them poor and easily taxed). It is how one uses capital to become wealthy i.e. you gotta have money to make more money. Even drug dealers know this.
P.s. Get rich quick schemes don't work.

@Arklysirzirgas "The only reason people are poor like you is lack of motivation & perseverance"
ok tony robbins, did u learn that in a get-rick-quick infomercial?
so u think 97% of the workforce is just lazy, only rich people work hard? lol
kajmobile 6 months ago
@kajmobile Please don't give us that rubbish. The only reason people are poor like you is lack of motivation & perseverance, pessimistic world view and suppression of hidden desires and ambitions. Anyone can become bloody rich for God's sake. You live in a much richer country than me with an unbelievable amount of resources and yet you complain you can't become rich? Millionaires are sprouting left, right and center every day and yet you say there's not enough money? Being rich is all attitude!

poverty mindset!?!? poverty exists because people like russell simmons consume all the income, leaving little left over for everyone else.
the top 1% consume 25% of the income
the avg income in the US is $126k per year and 97% of workers will NEVER earn that much.
demand democracy, equal pay for equal work, public ownership of capital and EVERYONE will be rich
