Depends on the LED ur using. I use 3v... cr1025 i believe.

I then decorate the piece of metal and battery to look like part of the steam tank.

The other part is rather tricky. The negative (I'm not certain right now, let's say the flat side) is touching a neodinium magnet, that is conductive and will pass the current along to the flat side of the battery that is on the other side of the magnet. The positive wire is a tiny little rod sticking out the back of the WJ. I then use a small piece of metal from a soda cracker can to connect the positive side to the positive rod.
Where is the battery? Is it glue to the model? What happen when its empty and you have to change it?

The battery is magnetically attatched. It has about the same diameter as the steam tank, so I just removed one end of the steam tank and that is where the battery is placed. A 3v battery should last about 1 hour constantly powered on.
