2010 Cross the Way Cyclocross #7

The seventh race of the 2009-2010 Cross the Way Cyclocross Series from Sunnymeade Farm in Chapmansboro, TN.

It begins with the Pro/1/2 race that lasted for one hour. Troy Tucker got off to the early lead, opening up a 30+ second gap over Dustin Greer and Jeremy Chandler. Chandler suffered a mechanical on the first lap and was out of contention the rest of the race. Greer surged in the second half of the race, catching Tucker with a lap and a half to go. He would take the lead, but could not get rid of Tucker. In a sprint finish complicated by two sets of log barriers in the final 400 meters, Greer would have the most kick left to get the win over Tucker in an exciting finish.

Chandler returned in the Singlespeed race, where he would dominate to take the win.
