  • You engraved yours? What a great idea! I used to do glass engraving with a sandblaster, I've even carved banjo necks and stuff that way, I'm thinking of trying it to engrave my Rogue. Can you do a video and show what it looks like? My friend got a dean electric acoustic shallow body resonator with some way cool engraving and I'd love to do the same look to mine.

  • @KarenTbone sure, i'll try and shoot a video of it some time this week and post it.

  • Nice cover. (Nice knees too bro) LOL Thanks for sharing. Enjoy.

  • NICE. Love the tone man.

  • Nice version. I've been thinking of getting a budget resonator and the rogue gets very good reviews. No one retails them here in the UK. Its all Ozark, Vintage, Recording King, Tanglewood etc. I did my version of Terraplane on a standard guitar but - most people do RJ tunes on resonators (I like the Scott Ainslie stuff), even though I don't think there is any evidence that RJ used one. I like your 'Kitchen' version too. I think I'll have go at that. Looking forward to some more uploads.

  • thanks for getting back with that info

  • @Bikewer Thanks :) im still loving the Rogue and ive been paying it for about a year now. Last resonator was a 1930 style O and it had a great sound. I cant get over how good this Rogue sounds in comparrison and its much easier to play without the flat fingerboard lol. Really good guitar for the money in my opinion. I recently spent a lot of time engraving the face of the guitar. looks cool with the brass showing through.

  • @slideboy6 hey man, thanks for the comment. im playing with the guitar in open G tuning then capoed up to second fret to make it open A. johnson has it capoed at third fret for a Bflat tuning it sounds like to me. anyhow, its fun to play it just in G as well.
