  • what would you suggest for brightness adjustments for filming a TV? I sometimes need to use that feature and I wan't to know what you thought

  • @TheAireaidLord Well I suggest keeping movies shooting mode on auto and the metering mode to multi. Since your filming a tv you can try calibrating the tv, like adjusting the brightness, colors, and other settings on it till it looks good on the camera.

  • What is the Videoformat? AVCHD? Or what is it?

  • @skoenig11 It's MP4.

  • So, the footage doesn't look stretched when imported and/or shown?

  • @JulesDeSmit No the video doesn't appear stretched.

  • 1080 x 16:9 = 1920

    4:3 = 1.333333

    1440 x 1.333333 = 1920

    1440 x 1080 is a Full HD ;)

  • @rocoboss

    1440 x 1.333333 (ie 4:3) = 1920

    1920 x 1080 Full High Definition

    Sony doesn't lie! ;)

  • how's the battery life when recording @ 1080?

  • @federaikkonerer Well said! Although it is misleading, it IS correct!

  • @rocoboss

The HX1 records video in 1440x1080 and stretches it to 1920x1080
