in Southeast North America was a time of great communities,
abundant trade, and agricultural gains surpassing European efforts.
The people built large earthen mounds as platforms for
homes and temples, and managed larges tracts of land for
agriculture and hunting.
Warfare also affected the lives of many men of the chiefdoms.
All Indian men considered themselves warriors and trained to use
the bow and war club.It is a time and culture that will be forever
changed with the arrival of Europeans. It is
