  • i never tire of listening to the song

  • @1brewski2 true to a certain extant, but lets not be too hard on Joplin's technique. the only record of his playing are the rolls he made in 1916 shortly before his death and he was already seriously ill with syphilis which affected his playing (later he couldnt speak). residents from his St Louis years (about 1901 to 1907) said he was a mediocre pianist at best. its possible his illness was already affecting his motor skills. also other pianists took joy in playing his music better then him.

  • @Doug19752533 Whoever is playing has a cleaner piano technique than Joplin. Very nice and thanks for the explanatory comment.

  • It does have the HARD sound of a piano roll, but not the subtlety of that great music. A valuable addition nevertheless.

  • I played it in my school orchestra! :)

  • MY EARSSSS

  • @eruptionista this isnt Joplin playing. Joplin only made rolls of Maple Leaf Rag (twice), Somthing Doing, Weepling Willow, Pleasant Moments, and Magnetic Rag. Also recorded Ole Miss Rag by WC Handy
