Richard Dawson Laugh Attack - 1985 Family Feud

ALL NEW! Don't know how this escaped all the blooper specials. Everyone who has seen those specials or is a long time viewer of Family Feud will remember the September incident. While not as wild, here is Richard Dawson completely losing his composure after hearing a zany answer. It doesn't seem like that bad an answer until you think about it... which is what Dawson probably did, which lead to a slow burn that culminated with him rolling on the floor by the faceoff podium!

@mleverich1991 - 'Name something you make conversation about when you meet a stranger'... It's definitely one of those answers that you have to think about for a minute to realize how bad it was... which was evident with Dawson's slow burn until he completely lost it! :)

@WREYtube The funniest answer I have heard is when Richard Dawson asks a woman " Name the month when a woman begins to show in her pregnancy?" and the woman answers, "September". It is here on youtube. I still luagh at the thought. But I am sure anyone can make that mistake because she was probably very nervous and all she heard was month and just guessed " September" hoping that she answered correctly.

The answer was stupid. And funny. No need to overanalyze it. if you don't laugh at that ridiculous answer, you need to grow a sense of humor. That lady's answer was more hilarious than half the jokes I hear from comedians today.

@lennychurch Well that would be an exception, but if you were to randomly meet one on the street (which back in 1985 was most often the case), what would be the incredible odds that the two of you would have ANY mutual friends, and what would be the even more incredible odds that you could bring up said mutual friend's name to the stranger? Like WREYtube said, you have to think about it a while to realize how bad an answer it was.

I think it's not the fact Richard was laughing at the contestant. But the fact...he was putting funny pieces together in his head with her answer that got him laughing histerically.
