Breaking in the new Cuda

Got a chance to try out my new Cuda from Jackson Kayak and it didn't disappoint. It was a beautiful December day in South Louisiana, perfect for fly fishing. Unfortunately I broke my 8wt while on the water, before I even got a chance to use it. Oh well, at least I had my spinning tackle.

Where is that? Looks kind of like the marsh I fish in Buras/Magnolia. What bait is that you sight casting with? I definitely need to get a go-pro and film soon. I have one video on Youtube my friend filmed of me.

@taiwarriorz21 That was in Lafourche Parish. I think I was using a TTF flats minnow, smoke color that day.

Cool video and nice fish, what are you using to hold you paddle up there when your standing?

Nice video, Ben. Real sweet to be able to stalk them from a standing position like that. Maybe next Christmas I'll get one. How do you like it compared to your 10 ft? Coosa?

I like it a lot so far. I will probably split time with each boat. The Coosa is the better river boat so I will use it on float trips. The Cuda is the better boat for open water/marsh so I'll use it when I fish inshore.

awesome, awesome video and great music too. i think music is very important to a fishing video its what makes someone want to either continue watching the video or switch to the next video. your music was exciting yet relaxing, like when you are in the back yard sipping on a beer and listening to your favorite band having a jam session. keep it up
