A song written by Robin Wilson and Doug Hopkins. This is the evolution of a little known but fan loved song. From the acoustic bed room recording of Robin and Doug, Regent Studios, to a live 92 performance on the album In Bloom/Just south of Nowhere. it's a shame this song went no were past the early 90's. This song is mostly known as My Biggest date but also goes as wasting my time (on in bloom) and i'll find out what there is. Just a note In Bloom was recently re-released as "Just South Of Nowhere" same as the dvd.
It sounds like a multi-track recording, robin + robin, aka vocal doubling

maybe it is, Robin has said these are just recordings from a tape recorder. Then again this could be a touched up version.

Nice. The first version of this might be my favorite song.
I think the Just South of Nowhere CD is MP3 only, which is too bad. On the DVD Jesse said they recorded it several times but it never made it to a CD.

Yeah i thought it was mp3 only seeing it only on rhapsody. It's nice to see this song finally got an official release.

Do you know how the vocals were done it the acoustic version? Is Doug singing also, or is it layered with Robin's lead along with his harmonies?

I think it's Both Robin and Doug singing. From my understanding it was just recorded with an old tape recorder.
