It's beyond my comprehension how this wonderful human being could have pitched this technology to our congress and the titans of the oil industry for well over a decade with no success until this incalculable calamity. Kevin Costner invested $20 million in doing something for the environment. He watched the Exxon Valdez disaster on the news and it inspired him to find a solution to cleaning oil spills.
Kevin Costner is a brilliant man. He didn't just stand in front of the camera and make a statement. He is proactive, not reactive.
