The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl

  • I'm not quite sure, but I think this is 1965 because George is playing a 12 string, probably the Rickenbacker or an Epiphone. He mostly used the Gretsch in '64.

  • Best effin live album ever done , nothing quite like audience participation

  • This is from 1964, not 1965

  • He was the greatest bass player in the world even in 64 for God sakes. Listen to that baseline while singing...Ridiculous.

  • @driteon Yes I DO know who you mean....and I don't know HOW he does it...I just know that nobody's ever done it any better!

  • How does he do it? ANd you know who i mean.

  • FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE. WOW, I FEEL LIKE BEING IN THIS FUCKING IMPRESSIONANT CONCERT. THEY CHANGED THE MUSIC. GREAT, LOVELY, SMART. OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

  • I never ever EVER get tired of hearing the Beatles do this song!!!!!!!! :-D

  • This was actually recorded in 1964. They did not play Long Tall Sally on their 1965 tour.

  • Aww, this was so great! I tried to get tickets to see The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl in 1965, but they were sold out. (This was when we had to mail in for tickets--no internet then!) Much sadness. But my mother, bless her, took me and my friend down to San Diego to see them. Happy day. :D
