I completely agree with the other petition signers. A film is long overdue, in addition to the fact the more people need to know about her... she is arguably one of the greatest composers and performers of our time, and her music feels truly timeless. Just the other day, I introduced "Hounds of Love" to a friend, and he said "Wow, that sounds as fresh as though it was written yesterday!". She is a true Master of Music... and please keep in mind, I say this with a Bachelor's in Music!

I can't imagine a world without Kate Bush.

Of all the most influential female, writers, composers, singers, song writers, and choreographers. I'd say she is well up there with the likes of.... well no one. Kate Bush is a pioneer of music and dance, in a class all by herself. There i said it.

I would love to see this get made, but I can see two problems. First, a film like this will need one of the best directors in the buisiness. Biographical films are very hard to make after all. The second problem is that finding an actress to play Kate Bush is going to be really hard.

Well, it's funny, I've been thinking for some time now that a movie about the life of Kate Bush could be interesting. A commenter on one of my videos once said that Kate Bush is the Stanley Kubrick of the music-rock scene, and I'd say they're right, since both were very unique artists who became a significant influence in their respective fields.

I totally agree but kate would not like a film about her! she's so private, your all have to wait until she's gone, I think she would sue the film company haven't you noticed all the books about her are from other writers, without her permission, she rarely does interviews. she doesn't want the world to know her completely that's what gives her so much more class compared to any other artists! and makes her more interesting! know one will ever come close.

what version of Hounds of Love were you playing, i've not heard this one and it is truely wonderful. Back to the Kate Bush Film, I'm all for it but they would have to respect her privacy as this is what she likes, this is what keeps Kate so special as people do not know that much about her just her music. She is timeless, please lets keep her that way. xx

I love Kate and, above all, her work immensely. Words cannot describe. So maybe a movie can? But then again, I think Kate's work speaks for itself! As far as I'm aware her life wasn't full of overcoming drug habits or near death experiences, nothing dramatic that seems to be needed to hold a modern audience's attention. Despite being crazy talented I think Kate is a pretty normal person! I doubt a film cutting between her in a studio, & her doing everyday activities would be *that* interesting.
