Really what school?

The John Work Chorale, in Chicago, made up of former Fisk Jubilee Singers has been active for almost 50 years now and they stay true to the FJS tradition. I was surpised to see a director in front of the group. I'm an "old school" FJS alum and we never had anyone in front of us. With those voices, you really don't need it. That's the beauty of the FJS.

J'aime beaucoup de cette chanson, "M'sieu Banjo." It's an old Creole lullaby, and when many people play or sing the song, they forget this, but Fisk's interpretation is undeniably stellar. :)
