I wonder if anyone up here in Maine has used them. A lot of days we have sub zero weather for our fishing. The holes freeze up fast and thats why most traps place the spool under water.

I can see the use for pike or something like that it's kind of like a tip up, but Panfish just seems really pointless and boring.

I have a 5 year old boy that doesn't like to sit very long so i just got mine two days ago after watch the video three days ago thank-you he now loves to ice fish he just walks over and brings them in thank-you again.

Can't believe there are no negative comments. I agree it would be good for northern fishing but pan fish? Come on. That just takes all the fun out of it.

I fish a lot of Winnebago the bay of green bay the canal of sturgeon bay rivers in Algoma and Kewaunee water in Michigan and central Wisconsin
