Sennheiser HD555 and HD212 Pro Comparison

Edit 24/04/08: Yes, as a lot of people have pointed out, the bass gets a shitton better with time.

@heckler52 thanks for your review the 555's definately feel amazingly comfortable (just bought mine yesterday), have you seen the supposed mod from the 555's to the 595's by @skikarl ? I heard the frequency response as far as the bass chapter goes and it's a whole lot better..

mod them. Take them apart and take out the mesh on the grill that restricts the soundstage and also the rubber to lower bass and mids should open up a bit. There are clips on here to do that. The hd555 will sound like the hd595 and you'll have saved about 100 extra bucks... =)

try the foam mod, it really brings out the bass. Also try using it out of an amp, it makes it wonderful
