Why do you ruin the quality of your nice camera?

...Is the computer you edit on not good enough? ...But even then I'm sure you could edit in 16:9 (widescreen) and not have black bars everywhere :/

I don't have software that can support the file type so I've got to use a converter which just spoils it. I had Premiere Pro for a while but it kept telling me that my serial was invalid :O

Are they .MTS?

If so, Sony Vegas is the way to go... It's the only editing software I've come across that doesn't require you to convert .mts files before hand.

@mcquade4 nah .MOV, they work with quicktime but i've just been unable / not put enough effort into searching for software

@Fairboff1 It is intense il give you that, all you need to do now is make a sloppy video and pair it with an overplayed powerballad and you'l be up there with the best of em.
