Pierce Fire Engine-Two Calls...

My friend got this footage inside a Pierce in San Diego. The first call was for medical aid and the second was an illegal burn (which is basically any kind of fire outside of a structure). Hope you enjoy...listen to that engine sound!!

is the transmission an Allison B400R6 or a B500R6?

that is not the air breaking system it is the engine the sound you hear is the compression coming out of the exhaust

come to where i live and you will be in Firetruck heaven. we got a new 2006 pierce and the new air brake system required by faa or whatever sounds like a jet engine when idling
