How can a TV station possibly choose such a presenter for a show with Monty Python? He lacks all sense of humour. He does not react to their jokes and stories. And his tie is hideous.

I just love that Michael Palin can say he was in a woman's closet because he was trying to find an adze . . . and you find yourself believing him. (also, Cleese's continuous laughter during the adze anecdote is just beautiful)

@HogwartsCastle : With all respect, you are wrong. No "huge chunks of speech" missing. Just 4 seconds (maximum) in the whole 4-part upload (due to the necessary "dissolve" transitions). Special attention was paid to keep the whole interview intact. I'm sure that, if you had bought and watched the original DVD of the interview, you would never write this comment.
