Here's something completely different.
Not many people know what import games were released on the Pico, so I went out and tried to get some. Here's my first upload for that.
"Futari Wa Pretty Cure", based off the anime series. Copyright 2004.

This was home-recorded off actual hardware (US Hardware, actually - no region-lockouts are on the Pico.)
The originally recording dragged on quite a bit, so SeanieB cut it down. You can check his Youtube stuff at
http://www.youtube.com/user/seanieb64

The "pages" more or less resembled the in-game artwork, but I'll try to look into scanning them at some point.

(NOTE: Although most the footage that was cut was redundant, I didn't have enough time to cram in the Henshin and Marble Screw segments. Those can be put up in another upload though.)

  • OMG! Where did you download this game?, and do you know somewhere to download a sega pico emulator for pc? because the only I'm using is kega fusion to emulate sonic gameworld but mi joystick doesn't work in that emulator, and I don't kow why. Thanks from now

  • 1) Recorded from actual hardware. Let me repeat; to the best of my knowledge, there is no ROM dump, and no realistic probablility of me finding ROM-dumping tools.

    2) For a Sega Pico emulator, look up PicoDrive at the Sonic Retro wiki.

    3) You would not be able to play this game with a joystick. You need to be able to use the Pico's "pages" and the touch tablet interface.

  • Ok... what the heck is a sega Pico? and when was it released? it looks good for a system I'd never heard of :).

  • The Sega PIco was an "edutainment" game console released by Sega around 1993 or so. It's most interesting feature is it's Touch-Tablet interface and general "Novelty" design.

It apparently did extremely well in Japan, having games released on it for nearly a decade, significantly longer than general international support. This is why Pretty Cure eventualyl came onto it.

  • WERE DO YOU GET THIS GOOD STUFF?!

  • Lucked out on ebay.
