The recipe sounds really good. May I suggest something? I would heat the wok until it is smoking hot before adding the oil and then let it heat again until the oil smokes before adding the aromatics. Of course they need less time to cook, but the really intense heat gives a lot more flavor to the dish.

Should've used cashew nuts instead of peanuts, that's how we Chinese do it :)
