This is a video of me singing a song about my wife for her to find on our Anniversary.
I love you very much darling, and I look forward to spending the rest of our years together. Economic hardships be damned. I can still be romantic without having to spend money we can't afford.
I don't do this song justice, but this video isn't meant to impress anyone, it is meant as a way for me to publicly share my love for my awesome wife. She is strong and a great mother. She amazes me more and more every day. Sometimes it seems she is almost able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Ha ha. She is my Superwoman. I am proud to call her, "wife," and I fall in love with her more and more every day.
The painting is by a local artist, Lisa L.
The song "Falling in Love (With My Wife)" was written by singer/songwriter John Fischer from his 1982 Dark Horse album. If you can find the album, it is filled with 10 wonderful songs. Sadly, it is out of print, and it has never been released on CD. Mr. Fischer does have a website (called Fischtank) that includes the lyrics to this song and many others.
