He had been demoted to the bullpen, getting this start in place of Randy Johnson, who had injured his shoulder with an errant swing against a Roy Oswalt pitch several days ago.
i wouldnt say a fluke, i believe he is a great pitcher who needed this great moment to be his big start in the MLB. i think we all will be hearing more from Jonathon Sanchez throughout his career.

I like how he showed everyone he's got good stuff, and should be in the SP role. BUT was it just a fluke? I haven't really watched this guy pitch before the no-no
