Good old fashioned burnt toast.

@jacksmeadow Also, checkout MedievalCollectibles, they have some pretty neat apparel and other trinkets like pouches, cool belts and stuff. Have fun, you'll love what you get once you get it!

@jacksmeadow Have you tried 3 Rivers Archery? They are based in the United States and have a lot of archery equipment under their Primitive section that is aimed at people who recreate midievel archery.

@bigbowbrum Thank you so much! I appreciate the help a lot.

@TXClasic Sorry but I'm afraid I don't know anything about modern hunting bows as I only use traditional longbows. Your English is good enough to understand, and that is all that matters my friend! Best wishes.

where do you get the leather belts, pouches, and dagger holders
jacksmeadow 2 months ago
@jacksmeadow Many different suppliers over many years really. My dagger comes from Tod's Stuff but the belt and puches are from re-enactment fair traders that I no longer remember the names of, and I can't vouch for where the other guys bought theirs. Your best bet would be to go along to the major re-enactment fairs during the summer season where all the best traders can be found. Sorry I can't be more specific.

@bigbowbrum I started to look for suppliers on the internet but I can't find any with what I am looking for. I live in the US and I was wondering if you know of any suppliers of medieval archer items such as leather belts, pouches, and dagger scabbards. Also a cloth not leather medieval quiver. I want everything to be as realistic and as close to what it looked like back then. I know I am asking for a lot but if you could help me I would be very very thankful.

@jacksmeadow Hello Thomas. I am really pleased to hear that you want to get yourself all the equipment and look as authentic as possible. Good for you mate! That would be really easy if you lived in England, but I am sure that with a little time spent on Google there must be suppliers of that kind of stuff in the US too. I will have a quick look myself and send you any links I find.

A million years ago I asked you guys if you had thought about attaching a camera to an arrow and you replied that you had thought about it. Did you ever get round to it?

@DumblyBrilliant Yes we did but the results weren't great as the arrow spun really quickly due to the camera throwing it off balance. We will try again though someday.
