Damn straight! They both were amazing feats. If there is any reason that Gibbson's homer gets more play it's the fact that he hit it without a good leg under him. The dude was in pain throughout the entire at-bat.

Why in God's name do you have to flip the race card on Gibbson's homerun?
Race had nothing in the world to do with that hommer.

Good job, guys. I love your videos..One comment..I'm a SF Giants fan, and I hate the Dodgers..but the reasons Gibson's HR has so much hype behind it are two-fold. The injury, as you guys mentioned, was a big part of it. But, also, the Oakland A's were heavy favorites. They had Canseco, McGwire, Stewart, etc...and Gibson hit the HR off of one of the most feared closers of all time: Dennis Eckersley
