It's harder than it looks. Filmed during practice in 2010 at the Streets of Willow course in California, Team Johnny Killmore takes a "taxi ride." Our passenger has never been on a sidecar or this race track, and you can see how difficult it is to anticipate the timing with no frame of reference. Watch how often the driver has to mirror check. At the 6min mark full-time passenger Vanessa McClure climbs aboard and the teamwork developed between driver and passenger is revealed. Higher speeds, smooth and faster transitions, and lower lap times result.
