Sunday, September 25, 2011 We regret to advise you that a veteran Firefighter/Fire Officer, Keith Rankin with the Lancaster Township Fire Department (Lancaster County, PA) died in the Line of Duty this morning. During training earlier today, Keith suffered what is reported to be sudden cardiac death but in spite of his members witnessing the event-and immediate life saving attempts, Keith did not survive.
