Rozen Maiden (ローゼンメイデン, Rōzen Meiden?) is a manga by the group Peach-Pit, with an anime series of the same name.[1] The story centers around Sakurada Jun, a young hikikomori boy that finds himself indebted to a living doll by the name of Shinku. Jun's sometimes comedic, sometimes dramatic, experiences with Shinku--as well as the other six dolls of the Rozen Maiden--slowly bring him out of his depression and back into the world that he had abandoned.

In TV Asahi's "Top 100 Anime Ranking" polled in 2006, Rozen Maiden was ranked 9th on the list.

Wat I mean is that, shes considered 8th because there are 8 dolls playing in the game. But because there are only 7 actual rozen maidens made by Rozen himself, Barahsuishou cannot be counted as another rozen maiden doll. So basically, she can play in the game, but she is not qualified to win it. :\

@Operative13 considered as 8th? nope...as shinku stated only 7 rozen maidens exist..and barasuishou dont even have qualifiacation to be one...as prove, the end of traumend battle, she dead when consumed all roza mystica...so, barasuishou is just another doll that attempt to be alice but failed

Wasn't there a doll similar to her who literally appears only once in the Anime but is one of the main characters in the Manga?

Saying as though Enju, Rozen's apprentice, made Barasuishou, she is not considered to be the 7th doll.Kirakishou is the true 7th doll who made a brief apperance in the anime and served as one of the antagonists in the manga. Barasuishou replaces Kirasuishou as one of the main antagonists in the story. Therefore Barasuishou is not the true 7th Rozen Maiden doll, but instead is considered the 8th. Whew, I cant believe I wrote all that just now.. XD lol

the moment bara and shinku exchanged words for the first time. She said:" I'm Rozenmaiden... 7th" and shinku said:" 7th??!" the unfortunate moment that finally all dolls where awakend and the battle to become Alice was inevitable
