I went to school in Cuernavaca Mexico. The average person has no clue of how beautiful Mexico is. They see photos of poverty and crime and think, this is Mexico. Mexico is a beautiful country with ruins and pyramids, waterfalls and flowers, beaches and beautiful buildings of all colors. The people are gorgeous and very welcoming.

cinco de mayo is only celebrated in the US. Mexico at the time was fighting an isuerection in Puebla and asked the French for help. Since the french was a major investor in the Mexico they decided to help. But America fearing that a French military presence in Mexico would support the South Confederacy while the Civil War was raging the good old Union sent arms to the Puebla rebels and they kicked ass. imagine the Confedarcy supported by Mexico and France, thats why Cinco de Mayo is American.
