  • @JxKx4x7

then, you are indeed, stupider then the average flyer fan... and thats saying a lot. LOL.

players play the game for championships and to be winners, not for winning a first round series by 1 game

  • @The90sRock1995 You don't have to be a fan of a specific team to know the history of another or the history of the game in general. Therefore, my team loyalty means nothing in this, it doesn't change the fact of anything I said, which is all true. The Pens "fan" talks a-lot of smack when the going is good and becomes invisible when the team starts be a bottom feeder in the league. You simply can't talk down to Flyers fans, no matter what, as obnoxious as they might be, they are LOYAL to the end

  • @mrceebees14 You say you don't like the Flyers one bit...but you sound like a Flyer fan to me. Who then do you root for? Obviously you know much about the sport of Hockey. So, who is your team? Someone with less than 3 Stanley Cups that you have to nitpick about selling out games?

  • @The90sRock1995 People in Philly do, year after year after year after year and Philly is very much a blue collar town.

Why show up when the teams is good and not stop shooting your mouths off about how great you are when you weren't there for the shit times? Called LOYALTY.

  • @mrceebees14 If the team is bad, people aren't going to spend their hard earned money to go see them loose. Pittsburgh is a blue collar city. People do manual and physical labor here mostly for their money. Why waste your hard earned money when you can watch at home like a lot of people I know did when they were doing awful about 6 or 7 years ago. Economics plays into it a lot, also. So, this IS about fact, and opinion. Have a nce day though :)

  • @mrceebees14 because a team doesnt have a sellout doesnt mean they don't have a fanbase. Pittsburgh isn't a very wealthy city. Tickets cost a lot of money to some. This isn't New York or LA where there are plenty of wealthy districts where people will pay 200+ dollars on websites for games.

  • @mrceebees14 Okay, I didn't call you an "idiot". So, I don't see the need for you to call me an idiot. I wasn't being rude. You have your opinion, and I have mine. But, if you wish to be small minded and not understand people can have differences of opinions, be my guest. And I don't care about your "facts". I was just at the game last night. All those people you are accusing of basically being bandwagon fans were screaming at the top of their lungs when the refs screwed up repeatedly. Just...

  • @The90sRock1995 Which adds to my point, because most non-pro sports team cities are more college sports oriented. I said the Pirates do not sell out, read what I wrote more carefully, I said the ONLY team that Pitt supports win or lose are the Steelers. The Pens still have Crosby and Malkin idiot, they were just injured. The team was still good, which is the only time Pens "fans" come out of hiding.

    Go read the attendance sheets.

  • @The90sRock1995 Except this has nothing to do with opinion, this has to do with hard facts. Remove the stubbornness and go read those attendance sheets.

  • @mrceebees14 But, let's agree to disagree. You have your opinion and I have mine.

  • @mrceebees14 Sorry, but you are wrong. There are other teams, University of Pittsburgh's teams (basketball, football, etc) and all the college teams in the area have a huge following. The Pirates do sell out, sometimes even when there isn't a giveaway, and they are the worst team in the MLB. And for a while the Penguins didnt have Malkin and Crosby due to injury, yet they still sold out the 18,400 seats. I would know, I have Penguins season tickets and have since 1998, BEFORE Crosby and Malkin.
