The reason most people like this song is because it sounds and is structured just like the journey of the late 80's. They even have the singer sing just like steve perry use all the voice inflections and phrasing. It's not a 2008 version of journey, it's someone singing steve perry licks and phrases in a recycled version. No one even knows what style this new singer has of his own or will they ever. He will be forever forced to imitate perry (and never can) forever. That's why Perry is Journey.

Im not sure if some peoples observation that the audience is lame is true cos I watched other peoples videos from a different angle and you can see a very enthusiastic crowd. Plus, there are actually a lot of diff people who uploaded their videos at the arrow rock festival. Cheers!
