@entertainme3000 it's unclear to me who Axelrod was(whether a day player, short term role, or more than likely a bad guy or informant that you won't find reading through history but may be lucky to find if you poor through oodles and oodles of OLTL stuff(god who has the time)
If he was in a similar mobster role, maybe he was a right hand man or one of the "dons" whatever the call it to a 1984-85 mob storyline which featured original GH cast member Roy Thinnes(Dr. Phil Brewer #1)

I gotta share with you all a childhood memory: as menacing as victor Jerome was every time that dude came on screen I just laughed my socks off! I think I knew as a kid that he looked different than your "dolled up soap character"(a well dressed midget(or *leprechaun* as Baldwin would call him) with that accent. The dude's name is Jack Axelrod and he is 80 years old as of May 31st still alive and well. And has starred in films over the years. Prior to GH he had a small role on OLTL.
