Recently widowed, Nestor has become infatuated with Maribel, his cleaning ladys daughter and wants to legalize their relationship at the earliest opportunity. But Maribel has plans to go to Barcelona to work in the S&M club run by her sister Angela. Whats more, she has fallen head over heels for Manolo, an ex-legionnaire, presently working as a debt collector, and dreams of an exciting, surprise-filled life at his side.


On her sisters advice, and further inspired by the thought of a juicy inheritance, Maribel marries Nestor, whom she does not expect to last long, especially if she gives him a good run for his money in the sack. Maribel already sees herself as a rich widow with Manolo at her side and the world at her feet. Its hard to choose between love and money when one aspires to both. But, whats to be done if your sugar daddy is disinclined to kick the bucket? Could this be the cue for someone to give him a helping hand? Manolo, for instance?

In this tragic comedy, the plot thickens with the added ingredient of a blackmailing detective, leading the players towards an unexpected finale.
