You made me chuckle when you said you didn't even like kids. You're excitement in the video over how cute the little baby hats are is priceless and kept me smiling throughout the entire 1 minute and 26 seconds! Loved it! Thanks! And great hats!

Thanks for teaching me how to make a cute basby hat. This was my first time making a crochet hat before, and with your help it is now one of the best things I've made. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP WITH THIS HAT.

Want to make the Little Boy Blue baby hat for a preemie. Can you help me with a pattern, hook size, and yarn weight? I'm a beginner so would appreciate a pattern with single/HDC/DC stitches. Many thanks for your great work and enthusiasm! Downright inspirin'!

You are so talented. I really enjoy your videos. You are a great teacher, your instructions are clear, therefore easy to understand. I also crochet among other hobies. It's great to see a man crochet. Thank you for sharing your talent. Keep up the good work.

What size hook are you using? I have tried making this hat with a smaller weight yarn, 3 weight I believe, but it just wouldnt come out right.

I am using a Size J hook. Thicker wool creates bigger project... thinner wool makes it too small. I am just using standard wool in this project. :)

yea, i love your 1st example!?! i love them ^^. idk how you get the lines on 'little boy blue' to match up perfeclty thou. i've tried adding lines to my hats and they always seem a step off.

that's exactly what causes the misalignment... spiraling upward... I used to spiral myself until just recently... I think it takes a bit of practice to slip stitch and carry on wiht the next row so it looks consistent!
Let me know how it goes.. I'm always interested!
