@kannyamon Ah, that's awesome! But I think it's true b/c when I watched that lakorn with Noon and Pong he called her "mea" and she told him to stop being rude and he said "oh should I say prrya and "anonymousblue" (she subs lakorns) explained (once again) that prrya=a legal wife.

@kannyamon I've read twice that it's the opposite and I had a Thai person tell me that :) and I do hear actors in lakorns using the word "mea" after they sleep (actually assault) with a female they're not married to.

Wishbone...is it true that "mea" means a woman you've slept with but are not married to in Thai, while "p̣hrryā" is someone you're legally married to?

are there 2 different words for a "husband"? Kawee uses the word "s̄āmī"......
