Although I marginally favour Horde overall (to be honest I love everything about Warcraft, Horde and Alliance both included) this song IS Warcraft to me. Warcraft 2 was the first Warcraft game I played and not only that it was the first RTS I played. I started with the Human campaign and after hearing this song and playing the game I was just blown away. Amazing universie with amazing games and a consistently amazing soundtrack, this tune being the most memorable.

Without any doubt the best Blizzard creation apart from the Tristram Theme.

However what it lacks to Tristram in mysticism it more then enough makes up for in Grandness. More or less a mood question to which is the "best" one.

Definitely the two greatest compute game songs ever made.

I will fight anyone who has something bad to say about this song. And If I could id enter the arena with this song.

I live in Syria, and many people over here loved this game..... I can say that on behalf of my friends and relatives..... Apart from being a great game, it brings back alot of memories which makes it even greater. What saddned me the most though is that I played the game and I did'nt read the history (the game dialogue). So until now I have no idea what was going on, except ofcourse the fighting. obviously Star Craft is parallel in its greatness (difference is I read the dialogue in SC).

This song remembers me when I was 10 years old... awesome soundtracks and epic game, today I play Starcraft II and WoW, so Blizzard, thank's for all =)

@vilkrang I prefer Humans (in the RTS at any rate) but I completely agree with everything else. This was the first computer game I ever played, the first one I played with friends, and made me love RTS' above all other genres since.
