A brief video on a new tool in Adobe's Illustrator CS5. The width tool allows you to control the width of any point on any path you have inside your document.

  • Wow thats a nice feature! Is it still a stroke after adjusting some widths? And are there anchor points added for each width?

  • @agerpic actually yes, it is still a stroke after adjusting the width, which is nice. However, the points are not turned into anchor points that you can manipulate. They are turned into points that can only be adjusted by the width tool. But yes! It is very nice, and comes in quite handy!
