@artsylovelylady, I know that my friend...this is basically what I was trying to tell some of the other people commenting on here about: "oh, in America we have poverty too"...obviously they don't realize that it is two completely different scenarios. America is supposed to be the land of opportunity, while the homeless people in other countries run into dead ends. The U.S. doesn't have extreme poverty, at least not as widespread as some of those other countries.

Exporter there is no excuse from the Ethiopian Government why there citizens should be living in such misery. They must look past Ethnic and Tribal lines and build for the welfare of the whole society not the few elite.

Ethiopia is far more FERTILE than the North African nations, scorching in Sahara desert.

But, the Ethiopian people are made EXPENDABLE to the Ethiopian politicians, who are far MORE INTERESTED in staying in power, ANNUALLY shopping & importing BILLIONS of dollars of arms from the West & East, waging endless wars against their own people & against their neighbors than FEEDING THE ETHIOPIAN PEOPLE, while the rivers WASTEFULLY flowing out of Ethiopia is FEEDING SAHARA DESSERT.

i went to ethiopia last year and it was great but i felt sorry for all the poor people. Some have diseases,no shelter, no food. In some places u have to take a shower and use the bathrooms in the same place.U should see the water-its very bad for people who's not adapted to that kind of environment. U should see me. i have a bunch of scars all over me because i went there but it was worth going there.

@alohaitssam I know theres americans who cause harm, but I don't base my sayings on one person, I base it on the fackt that 98% of african people who I had seen has some sort of issues against white ppl, and I dont blame them, they should just stay in africa if they cant behave them selves in western countries, besides they dont wellcome us in there quite well do they ? what would happen to me (basic white guy) if I would go to there in some random street ? or maybe in somalia ? :D

@roossi That is completely ignorant to say... there are thousands of kids in Ethiopia who are decent people forced to live in the streets, don't judge them all based on one person you know. There are plenty of Americans who go to other countries and cause harm. EVERY child deserves a good quality of life. do you think you seem intelligent calling them "little sons of a bitches"?? Educate yourself before you pass ridiculous judgements on people.

I know one guy. called solomon he is adopted from etiopia. he has only brought harm in to our country. selling drugs causing problems killing animals and such. I tell u theese kids r lost already, ok ? theres nothing u can do to them. try to help them and they stabb u in the back. I tell u just leave thees little sons of a bitches to die in to there and focus to ppl who can be saved etc. but thees ppl r monsters u dont really want to be close to thees animal. trust me....
