Andrew spent 10 years from the age of 7 learning classical music and then became engrossed in learning blues piano after hearing blues musicians such as Elmore James, Muddy Waters, John Mayall etc. His love of Blues enables him to teach Blues piano techniques to students and he is fully aware of the challenges that students face learning the Blues and other contemporary styles especially someone coming from either a classical background or who does not read music.
