Just watched this film tonight. Really, genuinely scary. I am a fan of all the PA films, but this is really nothing like them, so put that out of your mind before you watch I would say. I know lots of people will see the video camera set up and 'the house might be haunted' and conclude it's the same - but it's not. I found it hard to watch in many places, and I love when films do that. Not through gore, or grotesque violence, but something that takes a bit more work and imagination.

it truly is one of the most terrifying movies i've ever seen. i saw it last year, and it still haunts me. at first i was a bit bored, until you put all of the seemingly useless information together and get an incredibly horrifying story of life after death. incredible actors.

This is my new favorite horror movie. That fact that it was set up to resemble a documentary and not a horror film makes it even creepier. I've watched it twice (the second time with the lights on since I was multitasking between that and reading). I Still flew out of my chair at the end! Awesome movie which I've reccommended to all my friends and coworkers.

@naruto12345678912 While I disagree completely with Paranormal Activity being a "cheap peace of garbage", I do agree that Lake Mungo is absolutely freaking frightening.
this has to be one of the scariest movies iv ever seen. It's a movie where your not that scared while watching it but once it's finished you're to scared to move
