No, It is from Raghuvamsam, the Surya Vamsa saga. It is about Lord Rama. The episode describes Rama as one of the contenders in the Swayamvaram for the hand of Sita. The challenge was to lift and string the divine bow, the Kodhandam. She is miming the macho princes (starts at 3:06) who fail; ends with Rama praying to Gods and achieving the feat (starts at 4:01). You can tell the context by the last line of song (Janka sutha praansesam), as well as by the the title of song.
Thank you all for your comments. Dancing is when I feel my truest self. The story is about a man winning a woman's hand in marriage but it is from the Ramayana - Royal suitors are requested to string the mighty bow of Lord Siva to win Sita's hand in marriage. All of them including the inimitable Ravana fail. Rama is the only one who is able to and breaks the bow in the process.
