  • still a few traditional methods missing especially on the seat.

  • yes the stitched edge was thrown away as it was totally gone however so we replaced it with its modern day equivallent some people will only pay so much. It is still coil sprung, hand tied and stitched and filled. but hey it will outlast us all now thanks

  • coming from a 4th generation upholsterer w/18+ years not bad. too many butchers out there. i like how you gutted it instead of going over the top like all the other wannabes. 5 stars-bravo

  • thankyou i take pride in my work and the videos show the customers that we do what we say not give them a cover up job thanks again

  • Beautiful. My compliments to the Craftsman.

  • thank you,

  • Great job...period!...haters forget, itz a free video...

  • Great job, lovely work on the chair.

I did, however, find the video presentation distracting. The transition between slides, the dissolve, takes almost as long as the image is present for. Essentially, half of the video is in 'dissolve'. Clean cuts to the next pic, with a slightly longer pause on each photo would be much better.

But this isnt about your skill as a videographer or editor, its about the chair, and what a good job you did.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • Nice job on the chair. This is more of a sequential progression than time lapse though, but whatever.

  • very nice thanks!

  • Lovely music too! Who is it? I loved the video, although i was looking for how to reupholster a chair with a 'bubble' back, I think that's what they're called.

Thanks for the video, very professional

  • dont I know it! I wish people were prepared to pay for full restoration I hate having to do such things on antique furniture!
