  • @theproudONE92 No problemo. An interesting article to read would be "The No BS Bike" (google it). It explains that body-lean is useless on a motorcycle, and the only way to steer it is with the handle bars. On the topic of "counter-steering" I am experienced due to building a recumbent motorcycle with a steering wheel. In order to turn a motorcycle you need to "lean" it first. The only way to "lean" a motorcycle is by steering the wrong way. Then you turn INTO the turn. It's a fine balancing act

  • @joshpit2003 See when I imagine counter steering I imagine a person on a small motor boat that has to turn the rudder opposite of the direction he wants to head into. That's why I'm having trouble understanding what you mean by counter steering, didn't mean to burden you. Ill just look it up somewhere. Thanks.

  • @theproudONE92 you would. but first you would have to induce a lean. On a motorcycle you do that by "counter-steering" but on this thing it would eaither lean itself (through linkage) or it would require the rider do the leaning. It would be like a quad that tilts. still truns like a quad.

  • @joshpit2003 I thought you aim the steering wheel where you want to go? no?

  • First off: Awesome rendering and animation! Aside from the CV issues I would like to point out to you that steering such a vehicle would be very strange. on a motorcycle you "counter-steer" (turn the opposite direction you plane to go..pitching the bike into a lean) Where as this vehicle would not allow counter-steering... so it would steer like a quad, but lean like a motorcycle...making for what I think would be a very strange experience.

  • Half-baked idea.

  • gay

  • I really suspect the design!!!

everything is great except the rear Transmission system, NO typical cv available in the market has an turn more 15 or 20!!!

and you have stated that the vehcile could have leaan of 50 degrees!!!!!!!

  • better have some sophisticated cv axles
